Cem Yılmaz has once again given us a great opportunity to write with a very different and beautiful micro brand watch 😄
When we first look at the watch, we see a square case. A distinctive feature of this square case is its curvature when viewed from the side. This curvature is actually a small detail that allows the square case to sit more comfortably on the wrist. Trafford Watch describes this curvature as a horizon line.
Cem Yılmaz chose a pink-toned version for the dial. Looking closely at the dial, we see a sunburst effect. Sunburst reflects light from many directions in different ways. Furthermore, they used BGW9 Swiss Super LumiNova phosphors , enhancing the dial with blue phosphor. Sapphire crystal further enhances scratch resistance.
The movement is the Miyota 9039 caliber, offered by Citizen. The 9039 offers superior features compared to other Miyota movements. The 9039 has a 42 vph speed with a 28800-hour power reserve. Daily deviations range from -10 to +30 seconds per day, values typically found in Miyota watches.
The strap is made of Italian suede leather. Italian leather straps are generally preferred by micro brands. You'll find them on many brands. However, Trafford differs from others by featuring illustrations on the back of the strap. This distinguishes it. Trafford has set the price at $649 for this watch.
